Established in 2023 by Hannah Gilchrist, Studio Eight Design, is a bespoke interior design studio based in South East London working with residential clients around the UK.
With an eye for colour, detail and creative thinking, honed by her former career in the fashion and publishing industry, Hannah’s designs are crafted to tell a story.
After graduating with distinction at KLC School of Design in 2023, she set up Studio Eight Design where she could marry her skills alongside her natural flair for design, craftsmanship and materiality.
She now brings her knowledge to transform traditional and contemporary properties into beautiful, practical and relaxed homes.

The spaces we design come from a narrative that is guided by our clients - resulting in an authentic reflection of who we are. Our homes, and the furniture and furnishings we choose, should tell a story of our lives, both past and present and with half an eye on the future.
Greatly inspired by nature, we like to mix old and new alongside softness and texture, to create individual and comfortable spaces layered with personality.
Our ethos is deeply ingrained in everything we do. From space planning to lighting and electrical design, our client-focused approach ensures each project is unique and thoughtfully attuned to each design across a range of requirements.
